M & A Securities Sdn Bhd (“M & A”) (formerly known as Perak Traders & Co. Sdn Bhd) commenced its business as a stockbroking partnership on 15 June 1963 and was officially recognised as a Member Company of KLSE (now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad) on 27 December 1976. M & A holds a Dealer’s license issued by the Securities Commission under the Securities Industry Act 1983 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Insas Berhad.
M & A is managed by a team of experienced and committed professionals headed by Dato’ Thong Kok Yoon (Managing Director / Executive Director of Dealing) and Michael Chan Kim Hing (Executive Director of Operations / Head of Corporate Finance).
The principal stockbroking office is located at Ipoh, Perak. On 28 October 2002, M & A opened its first branch office at Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.
The principal business of M & A principal is dealing in securities and acting as Stock & Share Broker for securities traded on Bursa Malaysia and other approved Foreign Exchanges. We also provide other service and products which includes Share Margin Financing facilities, Nominee and Trust Account Services, Day Trading, Internet Online Trading and Underwriting for securities under Initial Public Offerings / Rights issue.
